State Standardized Tests
As members of a public charter school, our students participate in the following state of Hawaii standardized tests:
- Fall Grades 4, 6, 8 and 9 Writing Assessment
- Fall Grades 5 and 7 Science Assessment
- Spring Grades 2-11 HSA Assessment
Participation rates are critical to the success of our school. According to recent regulations outlined in the “No Child Left Behind Act of 2002”, a public school is required to achieve a participation rate of 95% on any state testing. The school runs the risk of receiving a serious penalty from the state of Hawaii and failure to comply can lead to school closure.

Individual student performance results on statewide achievement testing will be distributed to both parents and teachers in a timely manner.
