Our Application Enrollment Process
Step 1: Apply and Comply
Parent/Legal Guardian
- Complete Online application
- Submit all compliancy documentation to HTA Main Office within 14 days of online enrollment. HTA Compliancy Documentation Checklist
Step 2: School Review of Application
HTA Enrollment Team
- HTA will contact families after ALL documents are submitted.
- HTA will schedule the child’s placement assessments
Step 3: Assessment and Information Session
Parent/Legal Guardian and Child
- Child completes assessments for math and reading
- Parent/ Legal Guardian attends Learning Coach Information Session while student is taking the assessment
HTA Enrollment Team
- The Enrollment Team will contact the family 30-45 days after the assessment testing for the “placement conference”.
Step 4: Placement Conference
HTA Enrollment Team/ Learning Coach
- The Enrollment Team contacts the family for the “placement conference”.
- Course assignments will be given and Learning Coaches will be advised of the next training session and how to successfully complete the application process
Step 5: Application Approval
Parent/Legal Guardian
- Parent attains a signed School Transfer Form from the child’s previous school and submits to the HTA Administrative Office.
HTA Enrollment Team/ Learning Coach
- Once the signed School Transfer Form is received, the Enrollment Team will send a welcome email with important school information attached.
- Parents will be provided with the ‘Getting Started’ link and orientation information.
Step 6: Admission and Evaluation
All HTA students are on probationary status for the first 3 weeks of school, at which time the student’s records and progress will be reviewed to determine if HTA is the appropriate learning environment for the student.
Student evaluation can result in:
1. Good Academic Standing
2. Extended probationary status
3. Recommendation to for student to return to a more suitable learning environment
