Middle School Education Advancement Requirements

  • All students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are required to take language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
  • Students will demonstrate growth in the General Learner Outcomes (GLO’s) and competencies in the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards.
  • Students are required to receive a passing grade for each of their courses and complete the post assessment for each course in order to be advanced to the next curriculum level during the current school year.
  • Student will be graded on their progress in the OLS, participation in the Learning Center and Elluminate classrooms, and teacher graded assignments.
  • Teachers will provide class requirements and course grading scale at the first face to face conference.

2010-2011 School Year

Open enrollment for new students in grades K-10 for the 2010-2011 will begin February 16th. Enrollment is open to Hawaii residents on the islands of Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. More info
