Middle School Education Advancement Requirements
- All students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are required to take language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
- Students will demonstrate growth in the General Learner Outcomes (GLO’s) and competencies in the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards.
- Students are required to receive a passing grade for each of their courses and complete the post assessment for each course in order to be advanced to the next curriculum level during the current school year.
- Student will be graded on their progress in the OLS, participation in the Learning Center and Elluminate classrooms, and teacher graded assignments.
- Teachers will provide class requirements and course grading scale at the first face to face conference.
